Upfront, a distinctive round LED headlight captures your immediate attention – specifically designed to be reminiscent of styling cues found within a selection of BRABUS supercars, most notably the BRABUS 900 Rocket Edition and the BRABUS 900 XLP. The headlight is embedded in an aerodynamic headlight mask to ensure maximum airflow to the engine’s air box.
The BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 features BRABUS Monoblock Z forged wheels. State-of-the-art manufacturing processes and a brand-new finish in “Platinum Black” ensure a hallmark BRABUS look as well as maximum strength while being perfectly in line with the hallmark wheel-style often found on a variety of BRABUS supercars.
All BRABUS products are defined by high-end prepreg carbon elements. The BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 is no different – the lateral air ducts, the unique headlight mask and the belly pan all manufactured from lightweight and ultra-strong carbon fiber.
The BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23’s bespoke heated seat was developed to underline the luxurious character of the motorcycle, while providing maximum levels of grip, fluid rider movement and optimum comfort. The heating functionality additionally ensures pleasant riding comfort in cooler weather. The seat offers a pleasant 845 mm of height and has been reupholstered to feature the exceedingly elegant BRABUS “Crest” stitching pattern.
The carbon fiber undertray is composed of a single piece of carbon which stops the scale just above 800 grams, neatly integrating into the single seat tail.
In keeping with the design’s sporty, aggressive flair, the ultra-lightweight carbon fiber one-piece undertray now features an all-new pillion seat cover. Adopting the design cues of the ignition cover and matching the body color, this upgrade gives the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 a more compact and powerful silhouette
Taking charge at the helm is a 5-inch TFT display. Riders can access information and make adjustments to the bike’s WP APEX semi-active suspension on the fly, quickly and easily without navigating complex menus. The 5-inch TFT display is also scratch and glare resistant. The TFT display is tilt-angle adjustable, allowing the rider to suite his/her riding style. Lightweight with optimal stiffness, this triple clamp was specifically designed for the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23. While maintaining a 32 mm offset, its superior stiffness ensures precise handling and feel under hard braking. It also ensures less friction in the fork clamping area, providing better pressure distribution. Mostly, however, it is a signature part that further accentuates the BRABUS design DNA, finished in bi-color black and aluminum and emblazoned with the BRABUS logo
Providing both visual appeal and performance, the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 features CNCmachined hand levers, both of which are fully adjustable. This compliments fully adjustable shift and rear brake levers, that allow for three mounting positions for both length adjustability and height – including the option for a reverse shift pattern.
Manufactured from billet aluminum to the strictest of specifications, these CNC-machined reservoirs add unique BRABUS detailing to the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23’s cockpit.
Featuring the latest LED technology, integrated turn signals further accentuate the motorcycle’s clean, unobstructed appearance. LED taillights with incorporated LED turn signals ensure your intentions are always made clear. These also include adaptive brake light as standard.
All-new handlebar end mirrors with a short mirror arm perfectly match the compact and powerful look of the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23, allow for millimeter-precise adjustments at leisure. The round rear-view mirror housing is made of high-grade aluminum and features a finely bead-blasted satin surface as well as a polished outer frame.
With the latest WP APEX semi-active suspension from WP suspension, the BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23 offers superb rideability and an even wider range of usability. Six different damping modes - COMFORT, STREET, SPORT, TRACK, ADVANCED and AUTO are available as standard equipment, with the rear spring preload having the ability to be set by up to 20 mm, via the TFT menu. This is done in 10 steps according to the requirements of the rider, with the adjustability settings ranging from 0% to 100%, in 10% or 2 mm increments.
The BRABUS 1300 R Edition 23’s WP APEX semi-active suspension system also offers three automatic preload auto-leveling settings – LOW, STANDARD, and HIGH.
